How do I make sure my children get heard in court if the judge wont listen to them?

Easy...have your child talk with a counselor of some sort. Talk to the teachers, coaches, counselors at school, neighboors...ask if they will testify for you. They will be heard by the judge. Those are the words of your children.

Will the judge not listen to them because they are too young (younger than 14)? In a custody battle, judges generally do not take into account the wishes of the children until they are at least 12 - 14 (or maybe even older). The judge is not going to let younger children come in to court to testify why they do or do not want to live with one parent or the other.

For that matter, why would you want to subject your child to such a thing in the first place?
