SOMEONE TOLD ME THIS BUT THIER DIVORCE IS FILED IN NEW YORK. I LIVE IN FLORIDA NOW AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I WAS DIVORCED UNTILL I RECEIVED THE FINAL DECREE FROM VIRGINIA. I OWE OVER 100K IN ARREARS. WHEN SHE DIVORCED ME I WAS ONLY MAKING 17K A YEAR, BUT THE JUDGE ORDERED ME TO PAY 1K ALIMONY & $600 CHILD SUPPORT. YOU DO THE MATH AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!!!!!!! Get an attorney. You probably aren't entitled to half her income, but her income compared to yours could have some impact on the amount of child support you pay and may also affect alimony. You clearly got screwed in the original divorce decree, so you really need to get an attorney to get you out of this mess.
